There’s no greater honor than to capture a “first” in someone’s life, let alone the first pregnancy of one of your best friends. This moment only happens once, so thank you Julie & Jared for trusting me to capture the photos that baby M will cherish for years to come. This outdoor maternity session was taken at sunset at the beautiful White Rock Lake in Dallas.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the very talented female entrepreneur, Kendra Scott. She is the women behind the wildly successful brand, Kendra Scott Jewelry. Her mantra is “Family + Fashion + Philanthropy”. I love that! Upon arriving to her storefront headquarters on South Congress Avenue in Austin, I immediately felt welcomed by all the girls. I also had the sudden urge to shop! I mean, how can you walk into her store and not wish to buy every colorful, unique piece of jewelry that catches your eye? Kendra was very kind and made this shoot so easy and fun.

Kellan is a Christmas baby, so this Dallas newborn session was photographed in his blue nursery and under the Christmas tree in late December.

Brittany and David’s modern and colorful engagement session consisted of two locations in McKinney, Texas. We first went to Adriatica Village, then to The McKinney Cotton Mill. I had such a great time with this sweet couple and found out they are having a destination wedding in Hawaii in May! Congratulations you two love birds.
